Fest!

Hej!

This is going to be a short update, but I just had a pretty fantastic weekend. In case you're wondering, "fest" means "party"..... haha.

The whole weekend basically consisted of hanging out with my new Danish friends, sleeping in, doing some reading, and working on my Cancer project. I also went to this Senior Archivist's (for the National Archives) house for a drink since we both know some of the same people in Houston. He was very nice and had a lot of interesting conversation, and his lodger, Mike, gave me some good insight into the differences between Danish and American education and healthcare. I really love meeting new people. :)

This week should be a good one.... I have one test this Friday in my Epidemic Disease class; my Cancer project is due by Saturday (gonna finish that up by Wednesday though), and I'm going sailing along the Danish coast this weekend! I'm very excited for that.... hopefully the weather will be accommodating.

Speaking of weather, apparently the temperatures here in Denmark have consistently been above the normal averages..... the sun is out, hardly any rain, and cold wind only shows up weakly at night! Cross your fingers it stays this way for at least another week!
